The old way: a cardboard card, the same offers all year, printed once.
The new way: on your phone, a new deal every month, and it can't be lost.

What went wrong with the old card

You bought it from a kid at the door to help the school. It went in a purse or a wallet. Then:

  • It sank to the bottom of the purse, and you forgot you had it until it was expired.
  • You were standing at the counter, and the card was at home on the dresser.
  • It got lost in the car, run through the wash, or thrown out with the receipts. Most were never seen again.
  • The offers were printed once, so it was the same deals in January and in December.
  • If a business closed in March, its spot was dead for the rest of the year.

What's new

12×Every sponsor can post a new deal each month, so instead of one deal per business for the whole year, you can get up to twelve different ones.

It lives on your phone

Your phone is always with you, so the card is too. Nothing to carry, nothing to lose.

Always up to date

Deals change monthly, and if a business closes, the card changes the same day.

Hard to fake

The green screen moves, ticks every second and names the store. A screenshot doesn't. One reward per business per day.

Found in the directory

Tap Discount Sponsors on Crockett Local to see every sponsor, with hours, directions and this month's deal.

How it works

  1. Scan the display at any sponsor's counter with your phone's camera. No app, no password.
  2. The first time, buy in four taps: your number, the code we text you, then pay.
  3. Show the cashier the green screen: your name, their store, this month's deal and a live clock.
  4. Every visit after that, just scan. One reward per business per day.

Requires a smartphone. One card per phone. Deals are set by each business.
